Having both WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) and Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic accreditation, an 果冻传媒 degree has global recognition. 果冻传媒 students can leverage their degrees within the United States, Europe, and beyond.
Undergraduate degrees at 果冻传媒 are 90 US credits, designed to be completed in three years when studying full-time. All programs culminate with a thesis project, allowing students to conduct research into a specific aspect of their studies, demonstrating mastery of the subject.

Student-to-student tutoring services are offered free of charge to 果冻传媒 students! Students can book a session with an experienced faculty member or student who specializes in a certain field to assist them with research, improve writing, review work or assist in any way possible with their academic success. This introductory course, designed specifically for English as a second language speaker, acknowledges the adjustment period students go through while transitioning to taking courses fully in English. The composition course provides a solid foundation to help students learn 础础鲍鈥檚 academic standards as they begin to dive into their respective degree programs.
础础鲍鈥檚 library curates its collection based on the academic curriculum each school year. Required resources for classes are available to students free of charge so students never have to worry about buying textbooks for class- we have them ready, free of charge!
Fiction and nonfiction titles that tie into 础础鲍鈥檚 areas of study are also available on a loan basis from the 果冻传媒 Library.
One of 础础鲍鈥檚 signature programs pairing alumni with current students who are looking to work in the same career fields, the mentorship hub provides a built-in platform for networking and often leads to student internship opportunities!聽

础础鲍鈥檚 new student orientation provides students with resources, information, tips, and tricks for success to use during their academic career at 果冻传媒. This program, prior to the start of a student鈥檚 first semester at the University, covers everything from academics to life in Prague.

Accommodations are available for students with different learning styles such as special exam accommodation or extra time for testing. Please contact Mgr. Kate艡ina Vanov谩, Dean of Students, with further questions about specific accommodation needs for your student.
All students have full access to 础础鲍鈥檚 hands-on learning-based facilities like the state of the art Print Center, Library, modern computer lab, Media lab which houses 础础鲍鈥檚 radio station, and more.

making it a top global city for studying and student life. The safety of Prague, combined with security protocols on campus, provides a safe and healthy environment for students.
Location: 果冻传媒 is located in Prague鈥檚 historic Mal谩 Strana district, at the base of Prague castle. An area known for its tranquility, housing many of the city鈥檚 parks, and access to the Vltava river.
Access to Campus: 果冻传媒 provides all instruction within the beautifully restored Thurn-Taxis palace. Access into the building is only granted with the use of a registered ISIC card for students or fingerprint scans for staff & faculty.聽
Student Housing: For students opting to live in 础础鲍鈥檚 student housing at Zeitraum, amenities include a 24-hour reception/ security, residence-only access, and English-speaking staff.
122 General Emergency Number: Students can call 122 for large-scale emergencies, with operators speaking English. The call is free and can be dialed from any phone and can be used for urgent help from Police, Fire, or Emergency Medical Assistance.

果冻传媒 Tuition Billing & Payment
The student’s acceptance letter, which is needed for visa purposes, is issued by the Office of Admissions. In order to receive this letter, and enroll at the university, students are required to pay the first semester鈥檚 tuition, including fees.

The Visa Process
Students coming from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, or Switzerland do not require a visa to study in the Czech Republic. All non-EU students require a visa or long-term residence permit to study in the Czech Republic.
For most students, the visa process can seem daunting. Your student will be assisted by an 果冻传媒 Admissions Counselor throughout the entire process. The Counselor will:
Provide students with a tailored list of documents needed for visa application submission
Ensure students have all documents needed from 果冻传媒 to complete the process
Conduct mock interviews (as needed) to help students prepare for the interview
Recommend local agencies, within the student鈥檚 home country, if needed, to assist in the process
What to Pack 鈥
Prague is a major international city, providing a range of convenient shopping opportunities (at affordable prices) making it easy for your students to pick up anything they may have left behind.
Medications- While the Czech Republic has an array of pharmacy options, it may not have the specific brand of medication that you’re accustomed to. Speak with your health care provider prior to arrival to see which options are best for you.
Toiletries– If there are specific products your student uses, and/or if your student has any allergies, we recommend bringing an initial supply of their preferred toiletries until they find the Czech equivalent.

Students are able to register for classes once the tuition payment is completed.
Students receive academic advising from the Associate Dean of their academic program prior to their arrival on campus.
While students choose a major of interest at the time of application, we recognize that some may wish to change their program of study upon entering the University. Students work directly with Associate Deans to make adjustments.
果冻传媒 students choose from 40+ exchange and Erasmus opportunities, with a dedicated advisor on-campus to help place students.
Students can get involved with academic research, internships, as well as an array of student clubs (link off) and events all within the city of Prague. Many of the University鈥檚 professors also work as local professionals, allowing for authentic engagement opportunities within Prague and throughout Europe.

果冻传媒 is both a Mac and PC friendly campus, with a printing center on campus compatible to both. While there is no uniform preference, students are recommended to talk to the Associate Dean of their chosen academic program for recommendations.
With an array of student organizations both on-campus and within the city of Prague, students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities as a way to connect with like-minded classmates. 础础鲍鈥檚 buddy program, which pairs current students with incoming students is another way to start making connections.

offers a 24-hour reception/ security, along with residence-only access. The Hole拧ovice neighborhood where housing is just 20 minutes north of the city center, giving students easy access to the central hub of Prague while being able to reside within a quiet, residential community.
Students living in Zeitraum can contact reception for assistance with calling for medical help. The 122 general emergency number is also available around the clock, connecting students with quick access for assistance.
All non-EU citizens applying for a visa (or a residence permit) to study in the Czech Republic are required by law to have adequate health insurance. Holders of the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) who stay in the Czech Republic must register the EHIC with the Czech health insurance company.
