The John H. Carey II School of

Law

The John H. Carey II School of Law embraces the common law tradition and offers a personal classroom experience and thorough legal education rooted in the law of England and Wales. Students enroll with Anglo-American University in Prague, a University of London Recognised Centre, for certificate, undergraduate, or graduate-level legal studies.

About the School

The degree taught is from the University of London and is backed by the integrity of the University of London Law Consortium: London School of Economics (LSE), Kings College, Queen Mary, Birkbeck, SOAS, and UCL. These institutions, according to , take five of the top ten spots, and three of the top five, for law studies in the UK.

The University of London has long been at the forefront of social issues, having been the first institution in the UK to admit women, and has produced Nobel Prize winner, Presidents, a former Vice-President of the International Court of Justice, an ICJ prosecutor, a Prime Minister, and with the most notable law student being the former President Nelson Mandela.

The University of London LLB has been the first step on a career route for many thousands of practicing lawyers within the Commonwealth and around the world. Our own graduates have gone on to have the degree recognized outside of the Commonwealth and accepted within Israel.
